Marcia Pringle - Store Owner and Stamping Queen
I have been seriously playing with ink and paper for over six years now - got started way before then, getting everything ready for my wedding back in 2000.
Stamping, cardmaking and scrapping are hobbies I use to relax and I find most days I get to play in my stash and make a big mess. I love to create cards because I find they take less time and enable me to use a wider range of techniques and skills. My scrapping is purely to share my memories and I hope that one day I will have a treasured memory to pass on to the next generation.
I've been fortunate enough to be published. It's exciting to see my work in print and to see the buzz those projects create. I have been blown away by the generosity and kindness in the papercraft industry in Australia - nearly everyone I know, knows someone who scraps or stamps!
What Product Do I Reach For? Definately printed paper, and my Copics
Any Creation Disasters? Yeah, there have been a few, none that really pops to mind. I will admit to not owning a heat gun when I first started heat embossing, used the toaster instead and ended up with burnt hands and paper!
Favourite Technique? Making my own flowers
Alex Hughes - Scrapping Superstar
As a mum to boys, I find my scrapping tends to take on a masculine edge more often than not. However I love all the girly things out there and really enjoy creating projects that have a vintage and aged look to them.
I love stamps, use them all the time in both cardmaking and scrapping - yet I don't colour images. It's never really been my thing, I prefer to use the products on offer and make things from scratch with them.
I too have been published, both my cards and scrap layouts - I love to submit my work and it is so encouraging to have it accepted. I also teach classes at my local scrapbooking store and have seen my confidence and skills grow as a result.
What Product Do I Reach For? Patterned paper and ink, can't live without them
Any Creation Disasters? Tons, but there are no mistakes, only opportunities for creativity
Favourite Technique? Inking. Whether it be stamping or distressing or making vintage. Love the ink in scrapbooking and cardmaking.

Jessica Theodore - Cardmaker Extraordinaire
I first bought scrapbooking supplies when my first daughter was born way back in 2004, but didn’t really make a serious start on her album until we moved in 2007. Late 2008 I bought supplies to make my own wedding invitations and in early 2009 I found some online card blogs and challenges and since then have been collecting products and creating and haven’t looked back!
In September last year I was lucky enough to be approached by a lovely lady who asked if I would make cards to sell in her gift store, which keeps me busy at my craft desk, and helps support my addiction.
I don’t scrapbook as much as I used too, cards have taken over! But I do love preserving the photos and memories from special occasions for my family to look back on in the future.
There is still so much I have to learn, but I love seeing how my style is changing as I find new inspiration, new products and new ideas. I love working with colours and embellishments and there are wonderful new products coming out all the time, it’s hard to keep up!
What Product Do I Reach For? Buttons would be one of my favourites to use, I have a huge collection, closely followed my ribbons and paper flowers.
Any Creation Disasters? Of course! But I try and learn from them, and I have a box to put cards that I’m going to pull apart and re-do or re-cycle. And I have gone back and re-done a few LO from when I first started.
Favourite Technique? Hmm good question… maybe hand stitching and machine sewing, I love the detail it adds.
